Our Ambassadors in Hong Kong planned something very special: on 7 September, they hosted the Anniversary Megaparty!
With 3 different boats, 3 themes, 3 live DJs, 3 meals — and more fun than you could possibly imagine — our members certainly would say the event was a success!
We especially love the handmade(!) anniversary cake!
Speaking of cakes: a delicious three-story gâteau was waiting for attendees of the Happy 17th Anniversary Party in Mexico City. With a live DJ and exclusive deals on meals and drinks, members could celebrate InterNations’ 17th anniversary in the best company: among international friends.
On the same day, the Panama City Social Group hosted their Tropical Saturday – Feel Vibes party. Attendees enjoyed an evening filled with great live music and delicious food that was a blend of local cuisine and international flavors.
Our Barcelona Community once again proved that they know how to party with their Happy Birthday InterNations official event on 13 September. A charming venue and an elegant dress code perfectly marked this special occasion.
At the Guangzhou community’s 17th Anniversary Celebration, the fun vibes were contagious — and attendees were dressed to impress. There was a sponsored raffle with prizes, a live band, and more!
InterNations Prague had something special in store for their 17th Anniversary Party. Next to a wonderful venue with great views of the river and castle, attendees also enjoyed a charity raffle and a Bachata performance and workshop.
We hope you could pick up some steps for the next event!
Are you still looking for a chance to celebrate with a fun international crowd? Not to worry! There are many more anniversary events coming up this month, including in (but not limited to!) Bonn, Phuket, Zug, Islamabad, and Madrid.
Just keep an eye on our Events calendar.
Of course, September was not only about celebrating our anniversary.
Members in New York City got to experience a slightly different event format at the Slide Into an Epic Night of Games & Dancing event, combining the thrill of games with the energy of a dance party. We heard especially the foosball table was in high demand!
Meanwhile in Germany, quite a few groups had hiking on the agenda. For example, the Hamburg Hiking & Walking Group went on a tour to Hasselbrack on 8 September, including a well-deserved picnic.
And the Nuremberg Hiking and More Group combined a pleasant hike through the forest with some balancing exercises and a swim.
Of course, it’s not just members in our German communities who love to be out in nature. True to their name, the Toronto Explorers Group plans to spot some migrating fish on their Adventures of Salmon Hike on Saturday, 21 September. Why not join them?
If you’re someone who prefers more low-key gatherings, we’ve always got you covered too! On 7 September, the Singapore Coffee Connections Group invited members to some Coffee and Conversation at one of the city’s hidden gems.
And heads up: if you find yourself in Lima on 22 September, you can join the Coffee Lovers Group for some French-style coffee and delicious patisserie at their anniversary activity.
Thanks for all the birthday love, everyone!
